Our goal is to maintain transparency and keep our participants informed and safe. Dear Navy Ten Nautical Miler participants, Our team felt it as necessary to review every piece of information regarding the planning and staging of this event each time we received new update on COVID-19 situation that might affect our planning. Given that the safety of our runners and our military community is our top priority, our planning teams at Naval Support Activity Mid-South have thus decided, in coordination with our local command leadership, that it is in everyone’s best interest to CANCEL The Navy Ten Nautical Miler 2020 due to the situation with COVID-19, the novel coronavirus. We are very sorry that it is necessary to cancel our 2020 10NM Race and that it is not possible to deliver this event to you as planned. We sincerely appreciate and want to thank you for registering to participate in our 2020 race. We were sincerely looking forward to delivering you a one-of-kind and fantastic running experience at Naval Support Activity. As of now, we are planning to hold our 2021 race in June. However, the announcement will be pending until our Commanding Officer is able to approve the date. Until then we are working hard to secure commitment of all resources, adapt plans and do everything we can to provide you with a fun, safe and memorable running experience in 2021. Everyone registered (as a runner and/or vendor) will receive a full refund for your registration fees. No action is required on your part to initiate the refund process. All refunds (except a few previously requested) will be credited to the card used to submit payment for registration fee as soon as possible. Again, we want to thank you and all of our past participants who have supported us over the years as well as those that will in the future. We are embracing this as an opportunity to pause, reflect, grow and prepare to come back in 2021 STRONGER THAN EVER. The desire is to see this event become a world-class, national-scale event on a par with races like the Marine Corps Marathon, Air Force Marathon and Army 10 Miler.
